Hey everyone! If you went into the first study room you saw the beautiful diagrams that Jessica Whalen drew on the white board. I tried to make pictures of all of them. Some are good and some aren't, but I figured anything was better than nothing. (You might be able to read them better if you load them into a program like Microsoft Picture or view them the entire size of your computer screen). HAPPY STUDYING!!!!

a little more biochemistry help
Hey everyone! I hope you are all not going too crazy studying for biochemistry. As most of you know, Dr. McBride gave us a little review today. I know that several people were tired or sick and missed class so here is an audio file of what he went over. It helps if you have the notes, and if y'all want I will upload those too (just comment it and if enough people comment I'll post it later). The recording is not the best because I have not gotten an external mic yet, and you can also here my pen writing some in the background (sorry). Hope you find it helpful.............Okay so that did not work the way I wanted. Evidently the google group will not let you email anything over 1MB, and the first part of the lecture is 1.06MB. So here is a link to the second half, and if you want the first half (He discussed making a tripeptide. *important) I can jump drive it to you or burn you a copy (no big deal). Sorry for the kinks.

a better copy
I hope that everyone is having fun studying. Here is a better copy of the handout from biochemistry. I also added a few helpful links on the left; if you can think of any other useful links comment them and I will get them us asap. Also if you can think of anything else that you would like to see on this blog please comment it. See you all tomorrow morning!

Good Luck Studying
Alright! Here is the first try to post something helpful. This copy is the same one that was emailed out to you earlier. Tonight I am going to try to scan in a better, clearer copy of it. For now, here is a basic copy.
Okay, I just tried this and it did not work the way I thought, but it should direct you to our google group. The files are uploaded to the google group so you can access them that way to. But this blog gives you a direct pathway, and not everything on this blog will be like this. It may take a little while to work out the kinks, but bear with it. It is going to be helpful I promise.
MSOP 2010 blog
Hey guys! I know that there are several people talking about creating a website, and I know that it takes a lot of hard work to start one up. So my idea was to create this blog, not in place of a website but just as a quick reference for the class. We can post updates, announcements, and files for the class. You can mark this page as a favorite or as your homepage, but try to check it periodically for updates and helpful stuff (soon to come). This will work even better when we decide on our class officers. You can also easily post a comment with advice or ideas. Try it out for a while, and tell me what you think. (I am planning on working more on the blog tonight. Check it later this evening or tomorrow morning for an updated more helpful version.)
