Review for TDM test 2

Review questions on basic dosing, one compartment model - 2 ?
Once daily Aminoglycoside dosing - 4 ?
be familar with Hartford hosptial pracitce
want levels, peak = 20 and trough = 1 - 2
Gent and Tobra dosing 7 mg/kg
Amikacin dosing 15 mg/kg
Toxicology - 4 ? based on below objectives
1. understand the importance of the rumatic nomogram toxicology
(deals with toxic APAP levels)
2. Describe labs that results in flase serum drug levels
3. recognize drugs and toxins that may result in methemoglobinemia
4. Know how to treat methemoglobinemia
Geriatrics -9 ?
focus on (not just this): noncompliance
polypharmacy
know the modified Cocroft and Gault (140-age/SCr)
list of the main drugs to avoid in the elderly
GDS and MMSE scales (at the end of the packet)
Lithium (Cates) 4 ?
focus on ADE, toxicity, Main drug-drug interactions, and when to make
dose adjustments

Cyclosporin - 4 ? on Mr. Dr. Sims
